I’m delighted to be able to announce that Dr Paul Booton has kindly agreed to take on the responsibility of leading MESIG. I am sure that those of you who were present at the recent Clinical Teaching Forum will agree that it was an excellent occasion on which to formally launch the Special Interest Group and also to welcome those pioneering members of staff who are working their way through the Faculty of Medicine’s new Educational Development Programme to join our community of educational practice. Those of you who were unable to be present can find out more about the afternoon below.
I have no doubt that Paul will do a great job in taking us forward. On this page you will find details of the first MESIG meetings to which you are all welcome. He will be announcing the full programme of meetings for 2012-13 and our plans for the introduction of education grants in due course, so do watch this space.
