Clinical Masters
There are Masters courses available, with many including shorter options to complete Postgraduate diplomas (PGDip) and Postgraduate certificates (PGCert). Many of these expect applicants to hold a degree but applicants with substantial work experience may be able to take a qualifying examination.

Research Masters (MRes)
These courses have the main emphasis on research but do include a taught component. Many of these courses expect applicants to hold a degree but applicants with substantial work experience may be able to take a qualifying examination.
Other types of Postgraduate courses
Many of these are focused on teaching and education, with the exception of the Master of Public Health. Many of these would expect applicants to hold a degree but will consider applicants with substantial work experience, or teaching experience.

Short courses
There are short courses, usually 3-5 days long, in the area of Medicine and Healthcare that are available through the Continuing Professional Development Unit. Some of these are modules from Masters courses, and some are partly completed through distance learning.
