Myat Emma Arrowsmith
I am a second year PhD student researching unintended pregnancies, specifically with regard to access to long-acting reversible contraception, under the supervision of Dr Sonia Saxena and Professor Azeem Majeed. In addition to my research work, I support London Sexual Health Programme on commissioning and evidence-based policy. Before joining the Department of Primary Care and Public Health at Imperial, I held the post of Strategic Commissioner for HIV and Sexual Health in London.
I am a graduate of the Masters in Public Policy programme at the National University of Singapore, where I held a Temasek future leader scholarship. Prior to my time there I obtained my Bachelors Degree in International Development and Economics from Utah State University before working as an intern researcher with the United Nations Development Programme in Southeast Asia.
