Principal's Group

Membership:

To maintain a watching brief on all issues which may be of concern to Faculty academic and operational activity.
To undertake preliminary review of issues and ensure these are appropriately identified for discussion and decision at Faculty Board.
To develop and agree the agenda for each Faculty Board and Principal’s Advisory Group meeting.
To review and approve all Faculty academic appointments prior to College and Trust recruitment processes (such reviews to be undertaken on a monthly basis).
To review and approve all proposed nominations and recruitment panel recommendations for appointments (liaising as necessary with College Deans) prior to appointment offers being made.
To review and approve the financial business case for the establishment of new courses which are to be undertaken (either wholly or in part) utilising FoM Staff or resource.
