The Institute of Clinical Sciences, headed by Professor Amanda Fisher, comprises the MRC Clinical Sciences Centre, which is a fully funded research institute of the Medical Research Council, together with the department of Imaging Sciences.
Imaging Sciences
Pursuing research and post graduate teaching in the field of biomedical imaging and spectroscopy. The department was created by bringing together established groups working on MRI, Ultrasound and RF modeling.
MRC Clinical Sciences Centre
Improving the understanding of human disease as well as providing the core competencies to facilitate the translation of this understanding into improved diagnosis and treatment.
